My mother owned and operated several antiques stores in the 70's. I started my refinishing and touch up apprenticeship at a young age of 10 years old. I carried this passion for 58 years into the commercial landscape. We are 3 generations deep.
My brother and I started Hastings Architectural Restoration Co. in 1989 that provided wood, stone and metal refinishing and maintenance services. We sold the company in 2007 and the company is still in business today in the MD, DC & VA area.
The Wood Doctors of Vero Beach specialize in non-invasive, eco-friendly, cosmetic, wood touch up, repair and maintenance services. We reduce visible damage to nicks, scratches, scuff marks, gouges, edges, chips, holes, etc., using custom-blended materials and precision techniques.
In most cases refinishing or replacement is not necessary. Our touch-up, repair and maintenance process is clean, fast, and sustainable.
